Everyday Drugstore Beauty Essentials

October is here and it’s time for a fall haul! Whether you’re transitioning your beauty routine from summer to fall or simply need to replace a few everyday products, now is the perfect time. I have to note while I love trying out high-end products from places like Sephora and Nordstrom, I love finding cheap and efficient ones just as much.

So for today’s post, I’m rounding up a few of my all-time favorite drugstore beauty finds, all of which are reasonably priced. Keep reading below to see what I’m sharing!

Hair // It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Conditioner ($36.99)

This stuff is incredible! I tried it for the first time last summer and fell in love but didn’t want to admit it to myself since it’s a tad pricey for a drugstore product. With that being said, it’s truly salon quality leave-in conditioner, in my opinion. I use a bit every night to brush through my tangles and it keeps my hair nourished, hydrated, and protected from further damage. It simply works better than many cheaper alternatives I’ve tried in the past.

Body // Olay Fresh Outlast Purifying Birch Water & Lavender Body Wash ($5.49)

I didn’t know it was possible to love a body wash this much until now (and perhaps until I try Glossier’s Body Hero Daily Oil Body Wash)! The smell is unique but so enjoyable that I look forward to using it every night in the shower. It lathers in a frothy way, rinses off well, and leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and never dry. I love how cheap it is and how long a bottle lasts me! I haven’t tried it, but I imagine this would be great for a bubble bath too.

Skincare // Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel ($17.99)

I consider this one of the best drugstore skincare products ever made, especially if you have oily or combination skin. Gels are always going to work better than heavy creams for those skin types. What makes this moisturizer so amazing is its reasonable price tag and the addition of hyaluronic acid. As I’ve mentioned before, hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1000x times its weight in water, which means your skin will be incredibly hydrated and supple. Kind of like it just drank a glass of water.

Makeup // Revlon ColorStay Crème Eyeshadow ($5.99)

There’s something so luxe about a cream eyeshadow. I love Chanel’s cream eyeshadows, but not all of us have $36 to spend on a single one. Revlon’s cream eyeshadows are just that; creamy, pigmented, and come in pretty nice packaging for a drugstore product. I love the shade Honey (a true gold) for a night out but Praline (a pink-based beige) is best for use on an everyday basis.

Now, where to find all of the products above? Meijer! Their fall beauty promotion is starting the week of October 8 so be sure to shop these items and more (including men’s products) at discounted prices. They’ll have BOGO sales and more!
