Beauty Favorites Lately Vol. 2

It’s been just a few months since I shared my first round of beauty favorites and I’m back again with much more! I think I’ll be making this a new series on my blog since I’m constantly trying new products and love to talk about and share the ones I love. This time around, I’m talking about my favorite skincare, makeup, and haircare products from the last time I shared ’em in June. Take a look below at what’s been on my shelf lately and shop my picks in the slider! Be sure to let me know what you think in the comments too.

Though I’ve been horrible about sticking to a routine lately, I’ve managed to try out a bunch of new skincare products that I love. A new mask I recently tried is Tata Harper’s Purifying Mask. If you’re not familiar with clean beauty brand Tata Harper, she uses effective and natural ingredients and everything is handmade in Vermont, which is pretty cool too. This mask fights signs of aging, rids of surface buildup, and minimizes pore size. It made my skin tingly and super smooth afterward so it’s a winner in my book. Her Regenerating Cleanser is incredible too and makes my skin glow. I use it in the mornings and the orange scent wakes me up!

As for sheet masks, I’ve tried and now LOVE Patchology’s line! I’ve always heard amazing things but finally had a chance to try some out and I now feel like a sheet mask junkie. First off, their eye gels are amazing. Perfect after a night of too much drinking or if you simply didn’t get enough rest. The real winner here is their Milk Peel Flashmasque. With lactic acid and soothing coconut and soy milk, your skin gets SO soft. The idea here is to exfoliate but leave skin soft, not red and irritated.

Another clean beauty brand recently introduced to me is Indie Lee and her story is so inspiring. Essentially, she overcame a brain tumor that was likely caused by environmental toxins so what did she do? What any incredible woman does: create their own clean beauty brand! So casual. I’ve been loving her Grapefruit Citrus Bath Soak, especially after leg days in the gym.

Lastly, the Austrailian brand Dr. Roebucks has finally landed in Sephora! I really enjoy their Boost & Tighten Serum and Face Polish. If you struggle with small bumps and imperfections on your skin, you’ll love the Face Polish, which doubles as a scrub and face mask. It’s helped calm down my keratosis pilaris on my cheeks.

Earlier in the summer, I attended a BareMinerals event at Cindy’s Rooftop promoting and introducing their new BarePro 24-hour wear liquid foundation to bloggers and influencers. I’ve always loved BareMinerals as a brand but wasn’t sure of what to expect out of this foundation, but I have to say it’s become a new favorite. So much so that I’ll definitely be buying my winter shade! The coverage is medium to full but you can easily sheer it out, which is a nice option to have.

To set my foundation and concealer, I’ve been using Glossier’s Wowder, a powder that is unlike any other powder on the market. I use shade Light/Medium and it’s perfect for setting spots you’re just a tad too oily in, without removing any natural glow in the places you want it like your cheekbones. As many of you know, I’m a rep so you can snag 20% off your first purchase and free shipping on 2+ items always! Just head here.

One more makeup favorite is a mascara that’s new on the scene, Lancôme’s Monsieur Big.The packaging is simple, black and pink, and the big brush packs a powerful punch. It lengthens and volumizes without clumping lashes. The best of both worlds, truly. You’ll love this if you’re a fan of bold, black lashes.

One of my latest obsessions has been Virtue Labs hair products. This brand was recently introduced to me and I’m not kidding when I say that it’s transformed my hair. I’ve been testing out the shampoos and conditioners and I think the Recovery and Smooth lines are my favorite. After showering, I like to use the Perfect Ending Spilt End Serum to repair damaged ends. My hair feels so silky smooth right after the shower and when it’s dry. My hair has been so processed the past few years so if a product can get it silky again, I’m seriously impressed!

I’ve been trying not to style my hair too often lately (no reason in particular), but when I do, I finish it off with PHYTO’s Ultra Glossing Finishing Serum to add some life and shine back into it. To hold it all in and make my style last all day or night, I use KENRA’s Air Grip Spray. It also adds lots of texture to make hair look more lived in, which I LOVE!
