A Casual Spring Look

Happy Monday! I’m back after a few weeks without posting and here to talk about warm weather fashion. It may be a surprise to some of you, but I actually prefer my winter and fall wardrobe as opposed to my spring and summer one. I’ve always been more comfortable in jeans instead of shorts and would rather be cold than hot and sweaty. What’s perfect about this time of year is that I can still get away with wearing jeans and style them for the warmer weather.

In today’s post, I share an easy way to do just that! Keep reading to see my latest look below. Don’t forget to shop similar pieces in the sliding bar at the end of the post.

While I love high-waisted skinny jeans, I wear them all of the time. Sometimes, too often! I think it’s great to switch things up every once in a while and get out of your comfort zone. These jeans are an old pair I grabbed at ZARA. They’re super low-rise and have a wider ankle, both of which give them a laidback and undone feel. If you’re looking for a similar option, J.Crew’s Billie demi-boot crop is a great pair for summer. They look more unique when paired with cute sandals rather than skinnies.

To keep things simple, as I always like to do, I went with a white linen top that has lace detailing. To me, nothing says summer more than the color white and linen fabric, especially in one piece.  Though not pictured, this one is unique because it has a V slit in the back. I’ve linked a few similar white tops that I love for warm weather down below. Check them out! If you want to read about my shoes and the block heel trend, read my last post here.

What’s your go-to casual look for the warmer months? Let me know in the comments below! P.S. I hope you all have an incredible week! Photography by Lexi Holden of Al + Lex and Luzi Watson.
