At-Home Blowout + Easy Waves

For most of my adult life, I’ve worn my hair pin straight. It’s fairly quick and low-maintenance, and looked good on me. Now that I’m graduating in June and moving into a professional working life, I’ve been loving loose waves that are borderline curls. Something about them feels less juvenile and more grown woman. Plus, they can make any outfit feel that much more elegant or put-together. For today’s post, I’m sharing my honest review of a few products sent to me by T3 Micro alongside a few tips and favorite products I have for blowing out your hair at home and getting gorgeous waves. Keep reading to check it out!

Blow it out!

Though I’m a chronic air dryer (my hair is thick and coarse so it always seemed easier), I’m now sold on blowing out my own hair as long as it’s with T3’s Featherweight Luxe 2i Hair Dryer. Not only is the white with rose gold hardware insanely chic, but it’s also functional. Its lighter weight means my arms aren’t killing me 5 minutes into my blow dry and it’s actually less damaging on hair than air-drying. This one comes with a 2.5″ tourmaline and ceramic barrel brush for the perfect blowout while also reducing frizz and adding shine. I swear I’ll never air dry again.

Time to add some heat.

Once I’ve blown my hair out and it’s dry, I section the top, bottom, and two sides. Then, I put in T3’s Volumizing Hot Rollers Luxe and let them sit in my hair until they’ve completely cooled. The hot rollers themselves are also super chic and totally unlike your grandma’s set from the 1970s. I leave them in for about 25-30 minutes so I like to do my make-up or sit and watch TV while I wait. Afterwards, I gently take out the rollers and comb my fingers through each wave softly. Need be, you can touch up any waves with a curling iron. Though I haven’t tried it myself, I’ve heard amazing things about this curling iron from T3 Micro as well.

Finish it all off.

As for products, I try not to use too many but I did receive a sample of Bumble and Bumble’s Repair Blow Dry in my BirchBox several weeks ago and love it. I didn’t have a chance to try it until more recently but I swear, it’s the secret to a pretty and healthy blowout. I’m also looking forward to trying out this Amika Bombshell Blowout Spray that was in my BirchBox this month. My favorite texturizing spray is made by Oribe but if you can’t spend that much, Rusk’s is amazing too. Spray waves with Kenra’s hair spray for great hold without the crispy feeling.

What are your tips and tricks for getting beautifully wavy hair? Let me know in the comments below, especially if you’ve tried T3 Micro’s products out before! Have a fantastic week 🙂

It’s so funny because I’ve worn my hair curly/wavy most of my life, so when I have my hair pin straight it makes me feel more adult-like lol. Like you, I totally love the white with rose gold color! I might have to look into this product a bit more! 😁

Wait, there is such a thing a light weight hair dryer?! My arms kill me when I blow dry, especially because I have really thick hair. I love it when my hair is curled, it looks so nice! It’s naturally pin straight, so it take a lotta work.
