Towards the end of last year, we saw a huge upsurge in the number of women wearing loafers and mules. Whether worn casually with jeans a button down or more professionally at work, loafers and mules started to pop up everywhere. They’re even great for travel, especially airport security (read more about that here).
Now that we’re in 2017, I don’t think this trend shows any signs of slowing down. The Gucci slides are arguably the most coveted pair of the year. Considering their astronomical price point ($595), I thought it might be helpful to share twelve pairs of loafers and mules all under $100. Click read more below to check them out!
I may not own any mules myself, but I’m absolutely lusting after this affordable pair from Target. For only $22.99, how can I not want to buy them?! I love that they’re black leather and have the gold horse bit on them like the Gucci ones but don’t look exceptionally cheap. If you want something more seasonal, the backless espadrilles from Steven Jazlyn are ADORABLE. Perfect to pair with a light sundress and oversized straw hat.
I’ve been loving loafers for a while now. The gold Nine West ones are right up my alley. They’re a perfect statement piece without being too in your face. I love that the gold matches my jewelry too. A pair better for everyday wear is these Jeffrey Campbell’s. The camel color goes with practically everything and the simple pointed toe can be dressed up or down.
What do you think about the mule and loafer trend? Will it last longer than just a year? Let me know in the comments below, especially if you have found any other cute pairs under $100!
