Gift Guide: Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is less than two weeks away! I honestly can’t believe it’s already going to be May. I feel like 2016 just started. If you’re anything like me, your mom means the absolute world to you and you want to spoil her. However, being a college student can limit your gifts budget. So, I’ve rounded up some affordable gift options for all of you!
Click read more below to see what I’ve chosen!

1. Social Sweets candy boxes (2.5oz for $5, 10oz for $10)
Let’s be honest. What mom doesn’t adore candy and chocolate? These specially crafted candies come in the cutest packing and you can use code LINCOLNPARKMIN for free shipping through May 3rd. They’re put together in the Mitten state too, not far from where my boyfriend Austin is from!
2. LUSH Bath Bombs, the Comforter ($11.95) and the Titsy Totsy ($6.45)
I know my mom personally loves LUSH’s bath bombs. Most of our moms don’t treat themselves as much as they need to so a relaxing gift like this is perfect to make her take some time for herself! The Comforter is particularly relaxing, vibrant, and fruity.
3. Best Mum Ever mug ($9.99)
Moms wouldn’t be able to get everything done if it weren’t for coffee and/or tea. This mug is a daily reminder she’s the one that matters most in your life. I love small sentiments like these. The gold and polka dots are so cute too.
4. bouquet (price varies) has been a favorite of mine and Austin’s for a while now. Their bouquets are affordable and gorgeous. They also have amazing deals more often than not. Their flowers come directly from farms across the country too so you’re getting very fresh flowers in convenient, protective packaging at your door.

5. Finch & Cotter personalized pillow ($34 to $42)
Finch & Cotter is another favorite of mine! I know, I know. I have a lot of favorites but truly, her personalized pillows make the best gifts. I’ve given one to my little in my sorority as an initiation gift and I got one for Austin and I with the Chicago skyline and coordinates of where we met. The personalization is incredibly special.
I’m obsessed with Kendra Scott as of late. This set is literally meant for gifting! How can you not love it? It also comes in black for those moms that like simpler and more versatile pieces as opposed to the bright and summery magenta.

Pale pink lipgloss is a staple for any woman, especially moms the tend not to stray from neutrals. This color will flatter any and every skin tone. If you aren’t familiar with the Viva Glam line, the 100% of the funds go towards the MAC HIV/AIDS fund. Amazing, right?
Too lazy or busy to put together a gift yourself? That’s where Fountain Greetings come in. They have handwritten cards and curated gift boxes that are quick and easy to send yet stay thoughtful and sentimental. My favorite is this Lots of Love box that features yummy chocolates, peach gummies, and heart sparklers.
